All prospects are always good
Though all difficulties of the economic trend in many countries today, the great nautical field is still flourishing indeed. The more the number of builders gets up the more competition goes up. Superyachts can cross swords with everyone, but no bluff is permitted in this field at all. Due to the army of surveyors and layers supervising a yacht while being built, all have always to honour top quality and above all ship owner satisfaction. With regard to comfort and style it's about a gold rush towards the best, taking advantage from working with experts, very often Italian designers, able to feature pleasantly harmonious lines above all on yachts addressed to cross the Mediterranean Sea. It's going on seeking for rules applicable to all super yachts, above all to those used for chartering, a very profitable work today, which should guarantee an adequate insurance covering as well as safety of crossing and berthing to super yachts being worth millions euro, dollars or pound when complying the MCA Rules of the British Coast Guard. That reminds us that super yachts without MCA classification can not still enters lots of marinas today above all else because in the event of a fire only the leisure yachts built for complying all MCA requirements ensure ignition times long enough to let the boat be driven away from without damaging any surrounding units. To begin with the concept that each millionaire buying his own toy raises no objections at all in giving out a bit more if the extra - cost makes him free from all the cares: the international yachting is oriented towards this politics today. Notwithstanding this prime cost for building yachts according to MCA Rules, or equivalent ones, is not to be undervalued and makes owners burdened with heavy expenses for. So name and nationality of one or more designers involved, the favour of the captain, quality and assistance, which often does not offer only a technical service, are called into question. Indeed, the British people are the actual trend leaders in this field and this leadership let them maintain the elite - world of leisure crafts and their Dutch, German, American and Italian competitors under control. The Italian builders are still lagging behind because they can still not provide owners with the same tax benefits as their competitors can give. More than a year after having set up new measures for they have right now achieved from the Italian government new Rules concerning superyachts exclusively addressed to be chartered. Foreseeing the prospect of new Rules in the future quite all shipyards have invested in building new structures in attempt to satisfy the arising needs, but in Italy all efforts are vain cause Italian government senselessness and guilty uncertainty resulting from repeating a mistake already made in late counteracting the foreign leasing and not understanding the priority of going with the times opening up to the world of superyachts. Notwithstanding this, as it is possible to read on page 170, the market prospects are fortunately good. If only Euro were devalued against the American dollar. Moreover, on page 168 it is possible to read something about the Italian Rules not yet signed by the competent minister, synthetically drawn up by the engineer Lorenzo Pollicardo, the general secretary of UCINA and a very competent technician at international level.
